Transmedia Show 2024
The Transmedia Show is a yearly exhibition held at The University of Winchester for digital media students form all years to showcase their latest projects. Transmedia provides an opportunity for students to talk to industry professionals and gain insight into possible career avenues. As this year was my final year at University, I decided to redesign visual identity for the event and create a fresh and modern new look.
Concept
I wanted to make the design simplistic yet impactful through using bright colours to attract attention. Whilst combining it with a light, modern typography to appeal to professional industries. Just because the design needed to be clean an professional, didn’t mean that it had to be dull and boring.
To develop the design further, I decided to subtly animate the background to create an optical illusion affect. I was inspired by advertisements that use simplistic effects to create a sense of interrogation and curiosity.
